Aardsma

Definition 
The huge Baseball Encyclopedia lists pitcher David Aardsma, now of the Seattle Mariners, as first on the alphabetical list of players who have played in the Major Leagues since 1876. Before Aardsma made the San Francisco Giants roster in 2004, home run king Hank Aaron topped the Encyclopedia list.
